Even though it has nothing to do with him, it reminds me of an 80's Kurosawa poster for Ran or something like that. At any rate, I like the elegance of it.
My late friend Mark, who was a graphic designer by training, always said that when he was doing different jobs in the industry, such as designing ads, his life was a constant struggle for empty space; advertisers wanted maximum utilization of the space, and couldn't understand that empty space was part of the overall aesthetic of a graphic. Obviously this point was not lost on Zamecznik.
