It is Spanish, and translates literally to "To the Edge of Danger."

Thanks but I meant the country of origin not the language in question. The problem with a great many of these Spanish language posters is that I'm not sure if it's from Spain or Mexico or South America.

Actually, maybe I should go back and change my descriptions like to Spain instead of Spanish for instance. Hmmm....

I had the same curiousity. In 1950, Spain was being ruled by General Franco, a fascist dictator, and art was severely censored. It's always interesting what music, film and art is allowed in dictatorships.
