Blanco- It's Polish. You're awfully persistent for such a lazy ass.
Al- I've decided the weakest or lamest part of me blog is my actual writing, so that aspect is getting shit-canned. But I guess I should indicate the nationality of the poster when known at least.
Bingo, Polish it is. That's what I thought as well. Beautiful, isn't it? I like how the artist completely omitted his left arm, giving the figure and overall composition an oddly graceful quality. I also love the paranoid look the eyes give off. Perhaps a reflection on the Polish view of America's political stance concerning the rest of the world? Or, perhaps it's a literal depiction of the character's emotional state? I've never seen the movie so it's a bit difficult to judge what the intentions of the artist are or were.
If this is from Shane (1953) the classic western with Alan Ladd, then you must see it you lazy bugger ;) It ranks right up there with many other classics like: Unforgiven, The Good, Bad, & Ugly, Dances With Wolves, Glory, Open Range, Silverado, True Grit, and many other classic westerns. I command thee: see it now!!!

I beg to differ on the writing. I always enjoy your information and insights.
I like this poster a lot. It's obviously Polish, but I think there's a lot of influence of Spanish artists like Picasso and Miro.
Blanco- There, I typed something. :)
Johnny- Thanks, you're too kind.

Yes indeed, that is the very same Shane (1953). Will do, sir.
