Well hunted down Mac! Actually prominently featuring the monster is funny, because it's the weakest part of the film! Blanco and you should spin the disc soon and let me know what you thought of it. ,-)
Al- Thanks. I liked the monster! I thought it was was fairly well done for the period of time in question. I liked it quite a bit overall and probably try to hunt the dvd down.
I agree with the Mobster...I like the second one also. I prefer the blue, yellow, & white colors that were used & the monster is in the background, but he has a better presence back there.
The first one is too sloppy for my taste, I feel that is isn't as well planned as the second one. Too childish maybe & the red is distracting.
(again, this is just my humble opinion, I'm no art critic by any means.)
As for Bucky...well, what can be said...he is a boyscout, but I luv 'em. :)
Pookie- I really like the way the red POPS in the first one but then again, I like the more understated tone of the Italian poster as well. Great movie, you and Mr. boyscout (he knows I kid w/ love) should give it a viewing.
Mac-Daddy-Guff - (i can't help myself, i love nicknames). I'll ask my Boyscout (he knows you kid w/love) if he can hook us up and get a copy of this for our viewing pleasure. It seems be highly recommended by you and "Senor" Al. Thanks
Blanco- Don't be jealous of our rednecked beer guzzling neighbors, there's enough mac-daddy-guff to go around.
Skin- I looked but to no avail sir, posters from the twenties esp obscure films like Haxan are extremely rare. Besides, I gave you some Haxan, dammit. Keep the suggestions coming though. Glad you dug the posters.
I too prefer the second one. I recently watched this movie at the suggestion of someone at the cinemaslave forum.
the monster is the weakest part which is why the second poster is bitchin'. They're totally proud of him. (and really, for the time, I thought he was fine!)

It would be cool to have a monster room filled with all these cool old posters.

Ellen- I liked the monster! Esp for the time period and considering the monetary restraints involved.
