You're not kidding! The Curse of Frankenstein was out there in terms of pissing the censors off.

Still a good movie too.

(plague of zombies... the reptile... quatermass and the pit... hint hint)

Al- My friend, it appears you have a chronic case of the Hint Hints. You really should have that looked at by a specialist, POSTHASTE! ;)

Nice stuff sir, it's sweet that you try to throw us a bone now and again..

"please try not to faint"

ahahaha...that's great!!

Yes, I like the not fainting plea also.

How does one try not to faint? Do you watch the movie with your head between your knees?

Yes, the please try not to faint is a nice touch. I remember when The Exorcist came out -- people throwing up. My friends and I came prepared and laughed wickedly through most of it.

Speaking of, I wonder if Bug is good?

Mob- De nada amigo and any suggestions or "hints" are much appreciated. (right Al? j/k)

Blanco- You've been duly warned, I know you're a faint of heart type.

Getkristilove- Remember, it's for your protection.

Diesel- I carry around smelling salts just for such occasions.

Erik- Part of the charm of vintage posters are the corny taglines. Was actual vomiting by the audience common? I remember the Exorcist scaring the bejesus outta me when I was kid. Times have certainly changed.

I remember as a kid, being a big fan of the original Boris Karloff "Frankenstein" (I never missed it when it was on television) and seeing ads in the paper for various Frankensteins-- including the Andy Warhol one! It's funny, remembering thinking that this one looked too gory, given that it was a story about a monster stitched together from body parts.

Like Erik mentioned, the "Please Try Not To Faint" is hilarious-- up there with the part of my "Bloodfeast" poster that said "If You Have An Impressionible Adolscent, Don't Bring Him To This Movie!

Johnny- Ha, yeah.. which of course is gonna make teens wild to see it.

Buckaroo- I was waiting for you to chime in. Sigh.. if you insist. ;)

I'll throw some Sci-fi in too at some point.
